Cinema and its Change

The cinema has come a long way, the growth of the Indian film industry popularly known as Bollywood has been a very interesting one, from silent movies to the emergence of 3D films today this industry gives diverse audiences a lot to look forward to.
In addition the recent movies made in the past few years in Bollywood have contributed to the growth and popularity of the Indian cinema to a large extent. Movies like Tare Zameen Par, Fashion, 3 Idiots, and Ra One are a few names that have changed the approach of how films are directed and produced in India today.
However, diverse audiences play a large role in the growth of any mass medium and it was the acceptability and open approach to different content that can be counted as one of the reasons for the India’s exponential growth in cinema. Influenced by Hollywood, 3D technology is slowly changing the face of cinema all over the world and this can be evidently seen in the Indian industry and Ra One the result.

The censorship board is becoming more lenient. From early 90's till date we have so many bold, sensual, etc movies which affect the audience in a way or the other. May be at one end cinema is progressing and on the other there filmmakers who are deteriorating the cinematic culture.

Bollywood is gradually embracing technology as well as collaborating with international music, actors or movie production companies to produce a remarkable platform for the immense talent it withholds. This increases the pressure to create and produce better multi cultural content for all type of audiences out there. At the rate, Indian cinema is evolving it will be something to watch it unfold as it creates an impact among entertainment industries.
